Compare Maruti Cervo and Tata Nano

Maruti Suzuki India Limited has announced that it will bring a new entry level small car under Maruti Alto price range which is speculated a tough competitor of Tata Nano. Yet, the company has not announced the name of this new Maruti small car but it would be Maruti Cervo which has already been displayed at New Delhi Auto Expo 2010. Maruti's new small car will be offered as a cheaper car to the Indian buyers, thus Maruti Cervo price is speculated fall in the range of Rs. 2 lakh to Rs. 2.50 lakh at ex-showroom. And, Maruti Cervo review reported that it would be offered three variants from features wise. On the other hand, Tata Nano offers its all variants between Rs. 1.40 lakh to Rs. 1.98 lakh (Ex-showroom Delhi).

Maruti Cervo features impressive body design, attractive exterior and interior. It is likely to be powered with airbags, tinted glass, ABS, child safety locks and so forth features as standard. The engine comes mated with a 5 speed manual transmission gearbox. The speculated Maruti Cervo mileage is 22 kmpl in city and 26 kmpl on highway. On the other hand, Tata Nano carries Bosch’s MPFI 624 cc, 2-cylinder petrol engine which makes highest power of 38 PS at 5500 rpm. The engine is engaged with a 4 speed manual transmission system. Its fuel economy is 20 kmpl city and 25 kmpl on highway.

It is expected that after getting all these high safety features Maruti Cervo will not cheaper and may go for B segment. It impressive body design along with eye-catchy interior and exterior are attractive. Meanwhile, Tata Nano is fuel efficient and available very affordable price range.
