Chevrolet Tavera will get younger sibling Enjoy against Ertiga

General Motors India Limited has recently made announcement that now its Chevrolet Tavera will get a younger sibling Chevrolet Enjoy very soon to rival the much popular Maruti Eritga MPV. This month Maruti Suzuki India has launched its first and hit compact MPV in domestic market between Rs. 5.88 lakh to Rs. 8.44 lakh, and at price range it is giving tough competition to Chevrolet Tavera, Mahindra Xylo and Toyota Innova.

And now, as an answer to the Ertiga GM India will launch the Chevrolet Enjoy compact MPV that is expected be offered under the Chevrolet Tavera price. Right now, Tavera price is more than Ertiga and it full size MPV, but Enjoy is speculated a right answer to the Ertiga by GM India. Thus, after some time Chevrolet Enjoy will be offered to the Indian MPV buyers very soon.

On the hand, few months ago GM has also launched the new Chevrolet Tavera Neo 3 against the Xylo and Innova which is doing well but it can't beat the Eriga. Chevrolet Tavera features for new version are impressive along with mind blowing interior space. With it, exterior appearance of the MPV has also been made attractive using two tone colour paint. All the new Chevrolet Tavera is being offered between Rs. 6.36 lakh to Rs. 10.34 lakh (Ex-showroom Delhi). It is available in two diesel engine configurations such as 2.5L, 4-Cylinder Direct Injection Turbo Diesel and BS-IV 2.0L TCDi, four-cylinder engine. The new Chevrolet Tavera mileage is certified 11.5 Kpml in city and 14.8 Kmpl on highway by ARAI. Overall, it is noticed that Tavera will live continue against full size MPVs in India, while the Enjoy will position against compact MPVs.

New Chevrolet Tavera will go on sale tomorrow

The next generation version of much popular MUV (Multi Utility Vehicle) Chevrolet Tavera will go on sale tomorrow. On 21st March, 2012 General Motors India is launching the BS-IV engine powered new Chevrolet Tavera in India, and this version of the vehicle will also be available from tomorrow. The company has already displayed this BS-IV engine packed new Chevrolet Tavera at the Delhi Auto Expo 2012.

At this time, the American car maker is offering fully make-overed version of the Tavera which make it allure in the segment. The new Chevrolet Tavera features the new tail lamps at rear, a new dashboard layout with a twin cockpit design, a new instrumentation console and new beige upholstery at inside. With new teaks such as a brand new front, a new grille, new headlamps, new front bumpers etc. the company has given it a complete makeover to the vehicle.

Packed with all these features the new facelifted Chevrolet pictures look more impressive than old or outgoing version of the MUV. Beside this, a Sonalika sourced BS-4 compliant 2 liter common rail, turbocharged and intercooled diesel engine has been place in the vehicle. Meanwhile, the new Tavera NEO3 will also be continued with the BS-3 2.5 liter turbocharged, intercooled diesel engine which makes max power of 78 Bhp of and peak torque of 186 Nm. The new Chevrolet Tavera price is reported to see a hike than earlier expected range due to up to 2 per cent rise in excise duty in Indian Budget 2012-13. Thus, other Chevrolet vehicles such Chevrolet Beat, Aveo, Aveo U-V, Cruze, Chevrolet Captiva will also seen a price hike very soon.
