Honda City price saw a hike in the range of Rs 5000 to Rs 10500 due to an increase of up to 2 per cent in excise duty for Indian budget 2012-13. For Indian budget 2012-13, the central government has mended the excise duty of 24 per cent for every over 4 meter range cars in India having exceeding 1.2L petrol and 1.5L diesel engine. Thus, Honda has increased the City prices by Rs 5000 to Rs 10500. Here is a detailed list of the new prices of various Honda City variants:-
