Hyundai Verna diesel might get expensive!

The Indian government plans to impose additional taxes on the diesel cars in India in addition to fill up the gap of demand between petrol and diesel cars. Recently, petrol prices have seen the sharpest hike and customers are going for diesel cars. It is speculated that the government to impose the additional taxes of Rs 1.70 lakh on small diesel cars and Rs 2.55 lakh on diesel sedans and diesel SUVs.

Hyundai VernaHyundai Verna is the best-selling mid-size sedan and demand for its diesel version is more than petrol version. Hyundai Verna features for both petrol and diesel are tremendous. Its diesel model also offers automatic transmission system version. But after getting extra tax of Rs. 2.22 lakh, Hyundai Verna price will be going to touch Rs. 13 lakh for the top-end variant while the basic variant of the Verna diesel may go for Rs. 10 lakh.

Hyundai Verna mileage is too very impressive in the segment for diesel model so that customers are choosing as their right choice.

And the price hike may affect the demand of diesel cars in India.
