Hyundai Eon, Santro Xing, i10, i20 outperform in May 2012

The country's second largest maker and the largest passenger car exporter, South Korea based, Hyundai Motor India Ltd (HMIL) reported a rise in sales of Hyundai cars in India in May 2012. During the month the company reported a growth of 16.6 per cent at 55,670 units sold in May this year as compared to total sales of 47,762 units in same month of previous year.

Hyundai Eon, Santro Xing, i10, i20 hatchback pushed the sales of company in last and emerged as the best selling models. Domestic sales of the company stood 32,010 units and reported a growth of 2.8 per cent against the total sales of 31,123 units in the month of Many 2011. Exports of the company reported a growth of 42.2 per cent at 23,660 units sold in May 2012 as compared to 16,639 units same month of last year.

The segment wise total sales of Hyundai cars in India in May are: 2 segment (including Eon, Santro, i10, i20) 48,250 units, A3 segment 7,306 units ( including Hyundai Accent and Verna), the company 43 units of Sonata and 71 units of Santa Fe SUV which come into the A5 segment. Currently, Hyundai Eon is reporting overwhelming response and emerging as the best selling small car in the country.

Hyundai Eon will go for export by next month

Hyundai Motors India Limited, the country's largest passenger car maker has planned to export its popular entry level small car Hyundai Eon to other Asian countries very soon. It is reported that the Korean auto major will be exporting the Hyundai Eon small car to many of Asian countries by next month. With a large series of passenger cars in India the company manages the numbers second position whereas MSIL is the numero uno.

Hyundai EonIndia has been a export hub for Hyundai cars because, already company is exporting its hatchbacks Hyundai Santro Xing, Hyundai i10, Hyundai i20, sedan Hyundai Accent and So On to other Asian countries from here. Right now, Hyundai India is exporting its cars to a total of 115 countries across the world. And now, the Eon will also be offered to these countries by next month.

Hyundai Eon Front SeatsWith launch of Hyundai Eon in these countries the company seeks to grow its export capacity because, the company is speculating a drop of 10 per cent this year with total sales of 220,000 units as compared to 242,330 units last year. Beside this, the demand for Hyundai cars in Europe is also expected to a downfall. On the other hand, Hyundai India seeks to achieve 10 per cent increase in sales this year with total sales of around 410,000 units.

Hyundai Eon Era Plus LPG:

Hyundai Eon coming to market today

The all new Hyundai Eon will be launched in the Indian auto market by 13th October, 2011. It has been confirmed by reliable sources that the new Hyundai Eon will officially be launched in India tomorrow which is expected to fall in competitive and affordable price range. Hyundai Motors India Limited (HMIL) has already made announcement that it will launch Hyundai Eon in India as an entry level small car which is expected to take on popular small car models like Maruti Alto, Chevrolet Spark and Tata Nano.

The new Hyundai Eon price is expected to fall in the range of Rs. 2.50 lakh (for the base model) to Rs. 3.50 lakh (for the top-end model) at ex-showroom Delhi. With this expected affordable price range the new small beast would give stiff competition to small car segment leader Maruti Alto. Before official launch, Hyundai Eon features and specifications brochure leaked which proving it decent small car for the Indian roads. To make it one step ahead than rivals the company highly sophisticated features and specs.

Hyundai has developed this new small car, Hyundai Eon on its popular fluidic design concept base which is well premiered by auto enthusiasts.
